Mercedes-Benz G-Class Now with BlueTEC

| Tuesday |

The latest version of the classic model of Mercedes-Benz G-Class off-road, which until now was 31 years old, has now been adopted advanced technology features BlueTEC. BlueTEC is the latest technology developed by Mercedes-Benz, which is designed to reduce diesel vehicle emissions, particularly emissions of nitrogen oxides (NOx). Version of G-Class BlueTEC uses AdBlue, a liquid urea is injected into the exhaust gas flow. This process releases ammonia, which turns up 80 percent of nitrogen oxide into harmless nitrogen and water by the downstream SCR catalytic reduction converter. Since the G-Class is often used in remote areas in the world, one of the main goals of the engineers have simplified the problem by integrating outside AdBlue tank vehicle.
A full tank of AdBlue can be used for approximately 12.000km. Coupled with the BlueTEC engine V6diesel have the energy to reach 210 hp at 3400rpm and a torque of 540Nm between 1600 and 2400 rpm. Therefore BlueTEC model produces far fewer emissions than the previous model G 350 CDI, which even exceeds the standards of Euro 5dengan NOx emissions reductions of about 50 percent, while still providing performance comparable. G-Class Family currently has three variants, namely the short wheelbase Station Wagon, long-wheelbase Station Wagon and Convertible, all of which can be combined with the BlueTEC technology, the new engine. Another enduring feature, Mercedes-Benz G-Class off-road driving is still offering superior high-performance, with dynamic control systems, thanks to traction systems electronically controlled 4ETS. In addition, there are also features Electronic Stability Program (ESP), as well as a permanent feature all-wheel drive with an off-road ratio and transmission 7g-TRONIC 7-speed automatic.
