BMW Announce Recall Series 1

| Tuesday |

German car manufacturers, BMW will soon recall the BMW Series 1 produced between January 2010 and May 2010 for allegedly having a problem.

As quoted by Consumer Reports, Monday (6/14/2010), the BMW Series 1 is thought to have a problem on the seat belt tensioners in the B-pillar and around the silencer material.

In a collision, the silencer is feared could become hot and could cause a fire. This is of course very dangerous for consumers.

BMW Series 1 is not only produced between January 2010 and May 2010, but BMW's Series 1 coupe and convertible models made in 2008-2011 were likely affected by this recall.

Still would not say how much the number of new BMW Series 1 to be withdrawn because of this issue. But as a sense of responsibility, BMW is asking all owners to check their BMW Series 1 car to a BMW authorized dealers.

If known there are problems, a BMW will replace the affected subject.
