Earthquake in New Zealand- About of 100 people are thought buried in the rubble of Canterbury TV (CTV) due to the devastating earthquake that hit New Zealand. Hope to be able to find survivors in this building, the more depleted.

"We hope we can find survivors, but hopes faded over time," said Superintendent of Police, Russell Gibson to TV3 as reported by AFP on Thursday (24/02/2011).

A total of 15 staff and a number of Japanese students of foreign language schools operating in the high rise building was believed to be among the ruins of the building. This prediction is taken as a 24-hour evacuation teams conduct searches, they do not have the slightest communication with the people who stuck it.

Prime Minister of New Zealand, John Key asked that its citizens could be more realistic to face this reality. Even so, Key is still hoping to find magic in the most terrible disaster that ever happened to this country for 80 years.

"When we see this kind of disaster throughout the world, we heard many miracle stories about people who pulled out in a few days or weeks after the incident," pleaded Key.
