Toyota Recall Luxury Cars

Car manufacturer, Toyota Motor Corp. back to recall as many as 417 000 units of luxury cars and SUVs in the U.S. and Canada. Voluntary Recall to fix the problem in the steering system.

As reported by Reuters on Friday (30/07/2010) car is the Toyota Avalon drawn and Lexus LX470. With the withdrawal of the newest cars, Toyota has conducted a recall of 11 million units worldwide.

If broken down further, will attract 373 000 Toyota Avalon car output in 2000 until 2004 in the U.S., as many as 4200 Avalon in Canada, 39 000 LX470 SUV models in 2003 until 2007 in the U.S. and in Canada as many as 520 LX470.

Toyota says to fix the problem on this steering wheel takes about two hours to replace the components required. Toyota did not mention how much it costs to be incurred for such repairs.

Toyota has received reports of three accidents involving the Avalon, though no injuries. While for the LX470, there are no incoming reports
